Kansas State University Career Services - Helping Grads Find Jobs

Karl Eric Kandt, a rancher and former U.S. Army Reserve officer, has spent much of his career in leadership positions at universities. Karl Kandt’s most recent academic management role, as assistant direct of career and employment services (ces) at Kansas State University, put him in charge of coordinating career fairs and workshops that helped many students find jobs after graduation.

CES at Kansas State University provide students entering the workforce with a variety of tailored options. CES provides students with résumé help, interview prep services, and even dining etiquette workshops. The Career Closet program offers professional attire for both men and women, helping students look sharp for their next interview.

KSU’s career and employment services office also hosts career fairs for a variety of professions. In addition to the all-university career fair held in September, industry-specific fairs for design, education, business, engineering, and agriculture give students the opportunity to meet employers in their chosen field.
